Wednesday, November 12, 2014, 7:48 PM - A pair of window washers needed to be rescued Wednesday afternoon when their scaffolding came loose, leaving the men stranded on the side of Manhattan's One World Trade Center, 70 stories in the air.
The men were trapped outside the 69th floor of the skyscraper, and emergency workers had to cut a section of window from inside the building to get to them.
According to witnesses the men were dangling at a 75-degree angle while 11-km/hour winds pushed the loose platform.
