Video of Franciscan monks having a snowball fight goes viral

Thursday, February 26, 2015, 5:15 PM - Video of Franciscan monks enjoying a snowball fight in Jerusalem has gone viral, racking up nearly 200,000 views in three days' time.
The video was uploaded Monday by Einat Gomel.
Parts of the Middle East have been inundated with snow lately. In Instanbul, Turkey the snowfall broke a 28-year record after 75 cm fell in western portions of the city.
The rare snowfall was enough to close streets and halt traffic in and out of Jerusalem and its surrounding area.

"It's a magic wonderland," Miriam Leibowitz, a Jerusalem resident, told reporters last week.
"In the middle of Jerusalem we felt like like we're in Switzerland."
