Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 9:06 AM - You know you've received a lot of snow in a short period of time when your snowman is almost as big as the house.
After back-to-back nor'easters to start February, three Halifax residents decided to make the best of the winter weather by building a giant snowman they nicknamed, Chubby.
Accessorized with a pylon, hockey pucks, custom scarf, chair stoppers and 1.8-metre-long tree branches, Chubby stands at a towering 4.5 metres, according to reports.
It took 12 hours for Stephen Flynn, Cobie McFallon and Mike Postma to build the snowman, the news agency reports.
