The countdown to the 2013/14 Winter Outlook is on and we asked Weather Network meteorologist Dayna Vettese for some spoilers before Monday's release.

Q: Is there anything that will surprise Canadians about this year's outlook?
Dayna: Winter always feels like a surprise to Canadians even though we know to expect it every year. It looks like winter will certainly make an appearance, but more so for some Canadians than others.

Q: Could you see the outlook changing significantly mid winter?
Dayna: The outlook shouldn't change midwinter, but it's important to keep in mind that this is for a three month period and weather changes on a daily basis. So, it's always important to stay up to date with your latest forecast.

Q: Are there any juicy spoilers you can give? We promise we'll only share them with our thousands of Weather Network fans online.
Dayna: To quote the Game of Thrones...Winter is Coming!

Q: In your opinion, is this a good winter outlook?
Dayna: It depends on your outlook about winter. If you like snow and you like snow storms then this is likely a good outlook for you. But if you dread winter each year then this probably isn't the best outlook for you.

So there you have it! The first details released about this year's Winter Outlook.

CHECK BACK: The Weather Network will release the 2013/14 Winter Outlook on TV at 9 pm ET Monday, November 25. The release will then be featured on theweathernetwork.com at 6 am Tuesday, November 26. You don't want to miss this!
