Tuesday, March 10, 2015, 7:18 PM - Two Wisconsin teenagers had to be rescued over the weekend after becoming stranded on a chunk of ice that dislodged from the shore and floated into Lake Michigan.
The Racine fire department and Kenosha Coast Guard unit were deployed to assist the teens Saturday afternoon.
Three divers swam out to the pair, provided them with life vests and towed the block of ice back to shore.

Locals say it's difficult to tell where the beach ends and the ice begins, so it's best to stay back.
Ice can be unpredictable, making it nearly impossible to determine if and when a chunk will dislodge from the shore -- especially this time of year, as milder temperatures work to destabolize the ice.
