We can't get enough of these pictures of last night's "Super Moon", sent in by our viewers.

And if you missed it, don't worry! There are actually five moons in 2014 that qualify as Super Moons which, as defined by astrologer Richard Nolle in 1979, and his definition of one was "a new or full moon which occurs with the Moon at or near (within 90% of) its closest approach to Earth in a given orbit (perigee). In short, Earth, Moon and Sun are all in a line, with Moon in its nearest approach to Earth."

EXPERT ANALYSIS: Read Scott Sutherland's analysis of this incredible phenomenon.

Two moons earlier in the year were New Moons, but last night's moon was full one, as will be the moons of August 10 and September 8.
