The Weather Network's Mark Robinson was there to witness the costliest disaster in Canadian history: The fires of Fort McMurray. On October 2, meet some of the families who lost their homes and the heroes who sacrificed their lives to battle one of the largest wildfires in Canadian history. Season two of Storm Hunters kicks off Sunday at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Every autumn powerful storms rip across the Great Lakes punishing and battering the shoreline, often leaving great tragedy in their wake. These cold cruel gales are known as The Witches of November.

Ultimate Risk: (Premieres on October 9th at 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, 1- 4 am ET):

Meteorologist/Storm hunter Mark Robinson joins adventurer George Kourounis and a team of scientists on an expedition to explore the world’s largest and most active lava lake at Mount Nyiragongo in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Tornado Alley: Outbreak! Part 1 (Premieres on October 16th at 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, 1- 4 am ET)

Storm hunters embark on their most epic tornado chase ever, breaking their own records and catching once in a lifetime views.

Tornado Alley: Outbreak! Part 2 (Premieres on October 19th at 7 pm and 10 pm ET)

Following a powerful supercell thunderstorm has rewarded the Storm hunters with their most epic chase day ever. But will dangerous road conditions put them in the line of danger as the violent storm spins out of control?

1000 Year Storm: (Premieres on October 23rd at 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, 1- 4 am ET)

A slow moving disaster engulfs a city under water. The Storm hunters find themselves knee deep in flood waters as historic amounts of rainfall threatens to wash them away.

Dangerous Waters: (Premieres on October 26th at 7 pm and 10 pm ET)

The North Atlantic Ocean is generous with her bounty, until she takes a life in return. Mark braves the deep seas on the most dangerous day of the lobster fishing season.

Blizzard 2016: (Premieres on October 30th at 11 am, 2pm and 5pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, 1- 4 am ET)

A white monster charges up the Eastern Seaboard, and 80 million citizens are in its path. Mark battles the forces about to overwhelm iconic, and heavily populated, places in America.

Tornado Terror: (Premieres on November 2nd at 7 pm , 10 pm ET)

Having witnessed the ravages of a deadly tornado just a few days earlier, on the last day of their chase the storm hunters are again shaken to the core by a giant, unpredictable tornado.

Nature’s Fury: (Premieres on November 6th at 11 am, 2pm and 5 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, 1- 4 am ET)

On only her second trip storm chasing, meteorologist Jaclyn Whittal joins Mark Robinson in a shocking and gut-wrenching ride through the US Midwest during the most prolific and dangerous tornado season on record.

Monster Hurricanes: (Premieres on November 9th at 7 pm and 10 pm)

It’s exhilarating. It’s heart-wrenching. Mark and other storm hunters dive head first into some of the most destructive and deadly hurricanes to hit the US mainland in this millennium.

Doubt and disbelief plague the Storm hunters after an exhaustive chase through Tornado Alley. The team is forced to make an uncomfortable decision.  Do they play it safe or push past their fear?

Meteorologists Jaclyn Whittal and Mark Robinson are on a hunt in Tornado Alley to track down some of the world’s ferocious weather. Their goal – to learn more about the hidden forces that lurk in the skies.

Thrill of the Hunt: (Premieres on November 20th at 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, 1- 4 am ET)

Mark and fellow Storm hunter Scott McPartland are in Florida in search of waterspouts, but the adrenaline starts pumping when warnings go out for a deadly hurricane approaching.

Relentless Winter: (Premieres on November 23rd at 7 pm and 10 pm ET)

Mark and Jaclyn chase extreme winter weather as Nor’easters with hurricane force wind gusts and record snowfalls hammer Atlantic Canada.

True North Strong: (Premieres on November 27th at 11 am, 2pm and 5 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, 1- 4 am ET)

Canada’s weather is complex and powerful! Mark and fellow storm hunters chase down avalanches in British Columbia’s back country, twisters in Saskatchewan, and hurricane scale storms in Newfoundland. Enduring extreme weather is just an ordinary day for the True North Strong.

Heartache and Hope: (Premieres on November 30th at 7pm and 10pm ET)

It’s an ordinary town with a history of heartache. No one knows why Moore, Oklahoma has been the target of 3 mega-tornadoes in just 16 years. On the heels of the May 20, 2013 EF5 tornado, Mark and Jaclyn uncover stories behind the disaster, the recovery and the tenacious spirit of the people of the US Midwest.

Too Close For Comfort: (Premieres on December 4th at 11 am, 2pm and 5 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, 1- 4 am ET)

Another chase through the hotbed of wicked weather puts the storm hunters a little too close to the danger zone. Will Mark and Jaclyn see the tornado they’re hoping for before it’s too late?

From hailstorms to hurricanes and tornadoes, the Storm Hunters revisit their craziest chases and share some of the most amazing moments in extreme weather events.

One year after witnessing a record number of deadly twisters in Tornado Alley, Mark & Jaclyn return to the Midwest in search of more extreme storms. The hunt challenges their relationship with Mother Nature, as well as with each other.
