Rare footage of a snow leopard has been unveiled by the forestry department of Henan Mongolian Autonomous County, located in northwest China's Qinghai Province.
According to the department, the video was captured between Dec. 20 and 22 of 2013, and depicts an adult leopard inspecting first a rock, and then the hidden camera.
The video footage is incredibly rare.
Officials say they've captured this species on film a mere eight times in Qinghai in the past six years.
