Environment Canada has confirmed Ontario's sixth tornado of the year.

The low-end EF-0, with winds up to 90 km/h, occurred on May 29th at approximately 7 p.m. 4 km southeast of Casselman Ontario.

EC confirmed the twister based on "video evidence" and reported wind damage.

The tornado formed as intense rain rumbled through parts of Ontario, triggering thunderstorm warnings stretching from Windsor to Hamilton.

Ontario typically sees 12 tornadoes between late April and early October.
