Falling into a sinkhole wasn't the perfect parking a Long Island resident was looking for.
The 65-year-old Gayle Sorrentino had a close call when a sinkhole opened up under her car in her own driveway. Sorrentino was returning from her acupuncture appointment in her four-door Subaru when she was swallowed by the hole.

Although she was in shock, she was still able to call 911, By the time emergency crews arrived a friend Howard Osborne was at the scene keeping her company.
Despite the dramatic scene, Sorrentino wasn't injured and as for her car.
"It looks perfectly fine," she told local media.
Police are currently investigating but believe that it is a cesspool and the top simply caved.
The hole will be filled in but for now the police have cordoned off the area.
A bigger sinkhole opened up in Ottawa, the cause of which is not entirely known at the moment.
