Eleven beautiful harbour seals returned to their natural habitat on Saturday.
The Vancouver Aquarium's Marine Mammal Rescue Centre took in the animals from all across B.C. and nurtured them for two to three months.
The seals were released in South Surrey amidst a cheering crowd that were happy to see the animals leave their cages behind.

Many of the seals were rescued after being separated from their mother and were in "pretty rough shape."
Staff and volunteers helped the marine mammals recover from dehydrations and malnourishment.
The Marine Mammal Rescue Centre have helped thousands of animals in the last 50 years.
The MMRC still is helping about 35 seals in their Vancouver location.
