After damaging winds, what's next for B.C.?

Saturday, April 8, 2017, 8:19 AM - Another April system impacted British Columbia Friday, with its effects lingering somewhat into Saturday.
Though winds have eased as of the morning, Friday's gusts were very strong, gusting up to 90 km/h on western Vancouver Island, and in the 70 km/h range in Vancouver, according to weather observers.
Only a handful of power outages were on the books as of Saturday morning, though Friday travel was difficult, with dozens of ferry crossings cancelled.
CTV News reported a tree fell on a car in Surrey, trapping a five-year-old girl inside. She was extricated by firefighters, and no major injuries were reported.

No weather warnings remain in effect for B.C. Saturday morning, with the winds dying down and a few showers remaining before tapering off in the evening.
But there's another round ahead, with the next system moving in Sunday night into Monday. Meanwhile, at the higher elevations, freezing levels will hold steady at 1,400 m into the next week.
