Raccoon survives dramatic fall from Michigan building

Wednesday, May 21, 2014, 7:30 AM - A raccoon is lucky to be alive after it scaled a tall building in Kalamazoo, Michigan Tuesday.

People gathered to watch as the frightened animal clung to the building.

The fire department used a ladder truck to try and rescue the raccoon, but it fell several stories to the ground.

Amazingly, the animal survived and was taken to a rehabilitation centre.

It is expected to be okay.
