The Prairie provinces will likely be the place of envy this week as temperatures soar well above seasonal values.
"The big story is the mild air traversing the Prairies over the next few days," says Weather Network meteorologist Gina Ressler. "Temperatures in the mid to high teens are expected in Alberta on Monday, with temperatures expected to exceed 20 degrees on Tuesday in southeastern Alberta and southwestern Saskatchewan."
The climate normal for both provinces at this time of year is 10°C.

"The mild air will reach southern Manitoba by Wednesday," Ressler adds.
The warm up however, will be short lived so be sure to enjoy the balmy conditions will you can.
"A cold front will bring some showers to Alberta on Wednesday, with snow expected in the foothills."
