Thursday, February 22, 2018, 2:02 PM - Days of rain helped trigger a flood crisis across southern Ontario, particularly the southwest, marked by evacuations, ice jams and at least one missing person.

The Grand River Conservation Authority issued a flood warning for the entire Grand River watershed, and flood waters remain relatively high.

Due to the flood risk, the City of Brantford issued an "immediate evacuation" for a large area of homes, an order that has lingered into Thursday.
