Tuesday, July 14, 2015, 5:28 PM - Severe storms tore through the U.S. Midwest Monday, generating large hail, heavy downpours and an unusually photogenic tornado.

Several witnesses were able to photograph the stove-pipe twister, which formed near Hutchinson, Kansas.

While some trees and power lines were downed during the storm, no injuries were reported.

One of the most popular photos to emerge from Monday night's storms was taken from a nearby aircraft.

Social media erupted with photos of the storm.

Experts are quick to point out that tornadoes are extremely dangerous.

Should you encounter one, seek shelter immediately.
