Wednesday, May 28, 2014, 7:15 PM - Storm chaser Scott Sheppard was hit by lightning near Fairburn, South Dakota Tuesday and he managed to capture the entire ordeal on video.
What's even more remarkable is that Sheppard was unharmed, with the exception of a sore arm.
He was filming the storm from inside a vehicle with his arm out the window when the incident occurred.
"The strike hit his arm and then traveled down to the ground and blew a hole in the pavement," it says on YouTube.
"The lightning also disabled his vehicle and a passing car, both of which had to be towed."
