Drivers in Colorado weren't expecting this roadblock on Highway 24.
A mudslide overtook about two dozen vehicles near Manitou Springs on Wednesday.
El Paso County officials said at least 21 vehicles were stranded on the highway at the time and at least one car was completely swept off the road.
Fortunately, the driver wasn't injured and in fact, officials say no injuries were reported.
Flash flooding, caused by heavy rain, has been blamed for rock and mudslides in the area.
According to the U.S. National Weather Service, the region is more vulnerable to flooding and mudslides partly because of the major forest fires last year.
The fires destroyed soil and vegetation that normally would have absorbed heavy rainfalls.
Golf ball sized hail and powerful winds were also reported as Wednesday's summer storm moved through.
