99-year-old walks 10km a day in heat to see wife in hospital

Wednesday, September 5, 2018, 6:12 PM - A 99-year-old man from Rochester, New York has been walking 10 km a day in the midst of a heatwave to visit his wife in the hospital.
Luther Younger has been making the daily trek, even as temperatures climbed to 32 degrees Celsius before the humidity.
His daughter Lutheta told Yahoo she can drive her father but "he just doesn't want to wait. He's impatient."
Luther and his wife Waverly have been married for more than 50 years. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2009 and has been in and out of the hospital ever since.
Her most recent visit has lasted two weeks.
Younger, a Korean war veteran told CBS News hes "nothing" without his wife.
“She is a beautiful lady and she treats me as a person is supposed to be … she made a man out of me. That’s why I love her, because she’s tough. She’s not weak … That’s the kind of woman I want.
“She’s the best cup of tea I’ve ever had.”
