If you're wild for otters, you're going to want to take a look at Wharton Media's recently-launched Kickstarter campaign.
The production company is hoping to produce an HD live stream of otters, otters, and more otters, swimming, sleeping and engaging in other miscellaneous otter activities outside of California's San Francisco Bay.
If the Kickstarter campaign pans out, the camera will run continuously for a year, which will be streamed online. Highlights from the footage will be used to create a short film.
"Raising awareness for California's sea otters is something we’re pretty passionate about," the production house writes.
"With your help we’ll give kids, parents, classrooms and otter lovers of all ages around the world an amazing front-row seat to watch and learn more about this threatened species in their natural habitat."
So far, 35 people have stepped up to donate $4,330 -- roughly 16% of the $27,000 goal.
