Snow continues to fall on higher elevation areas of western Quebec, as the low tracks northward through the province. However, all rainfall warnings have ended.
Parts of eastern Ontario got almost 100 mm of rain by Sunday morning. In neighbouring Quebec, many communities exceeded that handily.
Some significant snowfall totals, particularly in parts of Quebec's Eastern Townships, were also reported, with almost 60 cm in higher elevations near Sutton and a still substantial 10 cm reported in Stanstead, according to Environment Canada. Northern Quebec also saw some major snowfall, according to weather observers in Chibougamau.
