Wednesday, November 14, 2018, 12:24 PM - The "official" start of winter is more than a month away, but it's just a date on the calendar as far as Atlantic Canadians are concerned.

In reality, the region is already well into a parade of winter-like weather, and the latest round began making itself felt in the region Tuesday. The result of this "weather bomb" is heavy rain, damaging winds, and, for good measure, a healthy dumping of snow, followed by the coldest temperatures of the season so far and then another snow-filled system that's tracking closely behind.
