Have you ever visited a building, amusement park or transportation hub and wondered how it works?

We have, and we decided to get to the bottom of things.

Starting today, we're debuting a new feature at theweathernetwork.com.

It's called How it Works and we'll be taking a look at how large-scale structures operate.

This week we're learning about aquariums. Visit our website every day until Sunday for a new installment in this series.

On December 5, Andrea Bagley will discuss how fish are transported to aquariums.

On December 6, Daniel Martins will tell us how aquarium fish are fed and how illnesses are prevented.

On December 7, Dalia Ibrahim has a countdown of some of the most interesting aquariums on the planet.

On December 8, Daniel Martins will be back again with a countdown of the world's weirdest sharks.

Stay with us -- it's going to be an interesting week!
