A Texas low arrived in southern Ontario early Wednesday morning, bringing dangerous travel conditions to the area and setting a new daily snowfall record.

Snow continued to fall throughout the afternoon Wednesday, with some parts north of Toronto Pearson International Airport accumulating up to 14 cm of snow, replacing a daily snowfall record set back in 2011 at 11.6 centimetres.

But how bad was the snow really?

The video above compares what Toronto saw with the snow that hit other communities the same day.
