Sizzling, humid start to summer for East Coast. Details here
Tuesday, June 20, 2017, 9:16 PM - Atlantic Canada will be feeling the heat this week, as a humid air mass continues moving up the east coast of the United States. Through Wednesday, humidex values for much of the region fall near or higher than 30.
Meanwhile for parts of Newfoundland's south coast, fog dominates this week.
As a system pulls out of Atlantic Canada, calm conditions are expected Wednesday.
The first day of summer looks to be a toasty one for the region, with temperatures feeling well above 30.
The warm trend will also continue across Atlantic Canada through Friday, dropping only slightly to the low-to-mid 20s by Friday.
