Hope you didn't miss it: Blue Moon shines in these photos

Saturday, August 1, 2015, 7:04 AM - We hope you caught a glimpse of last-night's full moon. There won't be another one like it until 2018.
Though the moon will be full-faced again right on schedule month after month, last night's blue moon stood out because, due to a trick of the calendar, it is the second full moon in a single month.
Of course, "blue moon" is a fanciful phrase rather than a description, as you'd need a specific set of circumstances for it to actually look that colour.
Still, it's rare, and pretty, and it got the shutterbugs among our viewers out in force. Here are their best shots from last night.
