Heavy rain, strong winds and hail forecast for parts of the Prairies this weekend

Heavy rain, strong winds and hail are expected for parts of Alberta and north and central Saskatchewan Saturday.
This low pressure system will continue to impact the Prairies throughout the weekend, while pushing into Manitoba and northwestern Ontario Sunday.

These storms are expected to be non-severe, but there's a chance of isolated severe storms west of Edmonton through to the Alberta foothills Saturday.

As for Sunday, however, there is a risk of severe thunderstorms for southern Manitoba and northwestern Ontario. Wind, hail and heavy rain will be the main threats.
