"Thunderstorms, some of them severe, are possible in B.C. with the main threats being downpours, small hail and frequent lightning, " explains Dayna Vettese, a meteorologist at The Weather Network.
North-central parts of the province will see between 50-60 mm of rain between Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Southeastern B.C. could get up to 75 mm.
"On Wednesday, heavy rain will have the greatest impact on interior portions of the province with embedded, non-severe thunderstorms," Vettese says.
