Great YouTube video: Mother Russia laughs at your puny polar bear dip
Wednesday, February 4, 2015, 1:30 PM - "Lords of winter" is an icy crown coveted by few.
And it currently sits upon the collective heads of those Russian guys in the video above.
We do polar bear dips here in Canada, but it takes something else to challenge the realities of winter by leaping into a hole cut into river ice.
The folks who did it, calling themselves WOUT, appear to be extreme sports enthusiasts based in the Russian region of Voronezh.
An earlier video posted to their YouTube channel shows how they cut the hole in the ice (and shows off more of their rope skills):
If you're into that sort of thing, you can find plenty of their various antics, including slack lining and bungee jumping, on their Facebook page and their website (you'll need to run it through the translator though).
Better them than us, though.
