Google Doodle does its best to promote the Spring Equinox
Thursday, March 20, 2014, 1:12 PM - Leave it to the beloved Google Doodle to chip away at the general malaise felt by Canadians on this first day of spring, also known as the Spring Equinox.
In its latest offering, the Doodle nurtures the inner gardening in us all by watering the letters G,O,O,L,E and watching them bloom into lovely spring flowers. As an encore, the stick person turned botanist waters the final G before sprouting a cap of flowers itself.
Inside the walls of The Weather Network, an experiment was rolled out to see if the Doodle could conquer all with its message of hope.
The results, well ...
We want you to send us your #SignsofSpring photos and videos as well. Use your social media account to upload to The Weather Network Twitter or Facebook, or log in to your existing Weather Network account and submit to our gallery of user-submitted photos. Look for the blue upload button in the top corner. Keep out there and find spring for us!
