Frost warnings issued in southern Ontario

This weekend marks the unofficial start to summer but it may not feel like it in southern Ontario.
Friday saw temperatures well below seasonal across much of the region and that trend will continue into Saturday.
On Friday afternoon Environment Canada issued a series of frost warnings, covering much of the area.

Residents are being advised to take plants indoors Friday evening to avoid damage from the frost, which is expected to settle in around midnight and last through to Saturday morning.
It won't be particularly warm in southern Ontario this weekend but temperatures will start to climb again Sunday, returning to near-seasonal levels by Monday.
