Sunday, February 11, 2018, 8:39 PM - Freezing rain will mostly wrap up by Monday morning for Quebec, with precipitation limited to snowfall for ski resort areas.
Some 2-5 mm of freezing rain is possible by Monday morning, and as much as 10 mm for some localities, according to Environment Canada, which had several freezing rain warnings in effect for parts of southern Quebec on Sunday evening. While the freezing was expected to end, untreated surfaces will likely remain slick on Monday morning.
"Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions," Environment Canada cautioned.

There's also a shot of snow ahead for more northerly areas, with some snowfall warnings in effect in some areas.
"A low pressure system from the Southern United States will reach Southern Quebec this evening and the Anticosti Island Monday morning," one such warning reads for Baie Comeau. "The snow associated with this system will reach Central Quebec this afternoon and eastern areas later in the evening."
