Known as Brandon Park, the property boasts more than 14 kilometres of New York's St. Regis River, along with many lakes and streams, and a mass of forested area.
Ma's new acquisition is situated in a part of the Adirondacks protected by the state of New York, Business Insider reports, as logging and mining work in the late 90s consumed much of the natural timber and water assets.
Ma is known for his extensive conservation efforts in China, helping create a nature conservation foundation and an environmental reserve.
