Brisk winds will continue into Friday with clearing skies as high pressure moves into the area.

As for Newfoundland, a cold front sliding through the province today will bring some light showers under 10 mm with breezy conditions gusting to 50 km/h.

Lake effect showers continue Thursday, but will remain north of the GTA.
