Drone captures aerial view of Ontario tornado
Thursday, June 26, 2014, 10:22 AM - This amazing aerial footage was captured by a drone flying over the New Tecumseth area earlier this week.
Environment Canada confirmed that an EF-1 twister, with maximum winds between 135 and 175 km/h, touched down in the New Tecumseth area east of Tottenham around 3:30 pm Tuesday.

On Wednesday, EC confirmed a second tornado from the June 24 storms, hit the Laurel station area, northwest of Orangeville.
"A cold front spawned a number of strong to severe thunderstorms across southern Ontario," said EC in the weather summary."
The second tornado on Tuesday was also rated as an EF-1, with a tornado path length of about 7 km and path width of 150 metres wide.
