Monday, July 21, 2014, 7:26 PM - Two deadly plane crashes were reported in Arizona over the weekend -- one of them large enough to spark a substantial wildfire.

Six people died in the two crashes.

The first claimed the lives of four people in a remote canyon Sunday afternoon.

Hikers in the area reported a low-flying plane followed by a loud crash and smoke.

That crash sparked a wildfire that burned through 10 hectares before authorities were able to contain it.

The identities of the passengers have not been released.

The second crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. near the Utah-Arizona border. Two teenage brothers from Utah were on board.

Authorities are investigating both crashes.
