Tuesday, November 22, 2016, 8:19 PM - Residents in Glaslyn, Sask., were on alert Tuesday after the village was issued a dangerous animal advisory.

The province's emergency public alerting program, SaskAlert, said several wolves were spotted within the community's boundaries.

"This is a dangerous animal advisory for a number of wolves in the community of Glaslyn," the advisory highlighted. "Several wolves have been sighted in the village boundaries. The public is being warned to be extremely cautious."

The advisory was dropped around 3:45 p.m. CT. Residents are asked to report any wolf sighting to local authorities.

Glaslyn is located approximately 70 km north of North Battleford.
