Canada Post offered to investigate the matter but Fane said there was no need, adding that the "service was great."
@IamFane Would you be able to provide your exact location via DM? We would like to investigate.

According to Canada.com, the postal worker was never in any danger. The notice was left at Fane's mailbox up the street.
There's no word on why the bear was roaming the neighbourhood -- but it isn't an uncommon sight in parts of B.C., given the large bear population.
