Officials are blaming the influx on an early frost, which has "expedited the fermenting process."
“Many birds have not migrated south, so it appears to be more prevalent than in past years. It appears that some birds are getting a little more ‘tipsy.’”
Drunk birds have been known to have difficultly flying. Some even "slur" their chirps.
Authorities expect they will sober up some time in the near future.
