Arrest made following low-speed police chase on Montana's icy roads

Thursday, November 13, 2014, 2:30 PM - A Montana man has been arrested after a 'low-speed' police chase on icy roads, local media reports.

The arrest happened Tuesday in the city of Bozeman after a police car collided with a pickup truck it had been chasing near the downtown area.

The pursuit kicked off when an officer responded to a road-rage dispute. When the police cruiser showed up, the driver of the pickup truck attempted to flee -- albeit slowly -- on ice-covered roads.

After a few blocks, the truck slid into to a parked Jeep and then slowly collided with the police car.

The truck driver was arrested at the scene.

No injuries were reported. A representative from the Bozeman Police Department said the injuries were minor.
