Airplane skids off runway in Houston, Texas amid rough weather conditions

Monday, April 13, 2015, 7:01 PM - A United Airlines flight arriving into Houston via Las Vegas slid off the runway at Bush Intercontinental Airport Monday morning amid rough weather conditions.
The plane stopped on the grass near the runway.
Passengers had been warned to prepare for a bumpy ride prior to the incident, according to Ashley Paredez, an Austin-based reporter who was on the flight.
No injuries were reported.

Witnesses say staff and attending firefighters kept people calm during evacuation.
Local media reports suggest the plan initially landed without incident, but then made a wide turn.
The incident did not cause any flight delays or cancellations.
