Thursday, March 5, 2015, 2:25 PM - There's a contest out of northern Canada that inspires hairstyles worthy of a Frozen sequel.
And there's a good chance that the annual event may inspire a new trend.
After months of frigid temperatures, one hot spot in the Yukon decided to make the best of the winter season
The Takhini Hotel Pools in Whitehorse held their yearly International Freezing Hair contest and the results were, for lack of a better term, hair-raising.

Fanny Caritte, Milena Georgeault and Maxime Goyou Beauchamps were crowned winners of the wacky winter challenge.
While bathing in a 40C in air temperatures of -30C, hair can freeze in less than a minute.
The contest is held every February. The cost of entry? Simply brave the arctic temperatures and dive right in.
In order to capture the $150 prize, entrants must post a photo of their frozen coif on social media before the end of the month.
