Climate in Varadero

Known for its iconic white sand beaches that are often referred to as “the best in the Caribbean”, Varadero’s tropical climate offers hot temperatures year round ranging from 25°C to 31°C in the rainy season (May to October) and 19°C to 25°C in the dry season (November to April). During winter months, precipitation is relatively rare and sunshine dominates the skies. When it does rain, it often comes in strong but short spurts.

The humidity can get quite intense in Varadero. Fortunately, water temperatures often sit 5-10 degrees cooler than the air, so wading into the ocean will most certainly cool you off.
