Climate in Banff

At 1,400m above sea level, Banff’s elevation plays a big role in its cooler climate. The town experiences all four seasons, with summertime air temperatures ranging from 6°C to 21°C, and winter temperatures ranging from 0°C to -12°C. Temperatures drop in parts of the area with higher elevation.

Precipitation in Banff is quite low, rarely reaching 60mm during the rainiest of months.
