Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm continues.

Where: Whitehorse, Teslin, Atlin, Haines Junction, Cassiar Mountains, Watson Lake, Muncho Lake Park - Stone Mountain Park.

When: Now through late this morning.

Additional information:
A frontal system is spreading snow to the southern Yukon. Snow at times heavy will taper off later this morning as the front departs.

Total snowfall accumulation of 15-20 cm are forecast. Locally higher amounts are possible, especially over Cassiar Mountain and Watson Lake regions. Snowfall combined with gusty northerly winds will generate reduced visibilities in drifting or blowing snow.

Travel will likely be challenging. Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility will likely be reduced at times.
