Description

Risk of zero visibilities on the roads this evening

What: Possibility of very heavy flurries with strong winds and blowing snow giving zero visibilities.

When: this evening

Where: the Haute-Gatineau and Mont-Laurier area

Additional information:
Temperatures will drop quickly this evening and reach around -20 degrees overnight tonight. This drop in temperatures will be accompanied by brisk winds and blowing snow. Additionally, roads could become slippery in some areas.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.

Snow squall watches are issued when localized, intense snowfall causing rapid accumulation and/or reduced visibility is possible.
