Snow squalls and blowing snow today into Tuesday. What: Near zero visibility at times in local blowing snow. Total local snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm. When: This afternoon through Tuesday morning. Additional information: A brief, intense snow squall is expected this afternoon along a cold front. In the wake of this cold front, lake effect snow squalls off Georgian Bay will develop and continue to impact the area. Blowing snow and poor visibility will be the primary concern as strong northwesterly wind gusts are expected. ### Travel will likely be hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. Strong southwesterly and northwesterly wind gusts of 70 to 90 km/h.

Today. Easing tonight.

Additional information.
Strong southwesterly winds will become northwesterly this afternoon. Areas with significant ice build-up from freezing rain will be most vulnerable.
