Description

What:
A long episode of rain, at times heavy, with total amounts of 80 to 120 mm.

When:
Now to Wednesday evening.

Where:
North Coast Inland - including Kitimat and Terrace.

Additional information:
A vigorous frontal system will move across the North Coast today, followed by a second system tonight and on Wednesday. Together, these systems will bring a prolonged period of rain over the region. For the inland areas including Kitimat and Terrace, rainfall will intensify today and ease Wednesday evening.

Total rainfall amounts of 40 to 60 mm are expected for tonight, followed by an additional 40 to 60 mm from Wednesday morning to Wednesday evening.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.
