- Metro Vancouver, Greater Victoria, Southern Gulf Islands, East Vancouver Island, Sunshine Coast.
When: Now to Thursday afternoon.
Remark: A ridge of high pressure over southern B.C. is creating favourable conditions for dense fog development. Fog remains dense for areas near the Strait of Georgia and low-lying areas.
Fog has redeveloped this evening in areas that have cleared out this afternoon.
The fog will lift Thursday afternoon as a frontal system moves into the area.
