Violent winds cause plane to sway in the air
Violent winds in the UK caused a British Airways plane to sway back and forth as it attempted to land at the Gibraltar International Airport Friday.
Flight BA492 was scheduled to take off from London Heathrow airport at 8:25 a.m. and arrive at Gibraltar at 12:20 p.m.

Airport employee Richard Whalley told CNN the plane was diverted to Malaga Airport when landing at Gibraltar was deemed unsafe.
It touched down at the Spanish airport at 12:41 p.m.
In a statement, British Airways apologized to its customers for the inconvenience.

"Due to strong winds in the Gibraltar area, our pilots decided to land in Malaga as a precaution," the statement reads.
"At no point was there a risk to safety ... The safety of our customers and crew is always out number one priority."
No injuries were reported in the incident.
